The Rolex Yacht-Master reference 16622 was the first model to combine stainless steel and platinum in Rolex’s exclusive Rolesium alloy. Introduced in 1999 and produced until 2012, it features a 40mm Oyster case in Oystersteel paired with a bidirectional rotatable solid platinum bezel with raised polished numerals. It has a distinctive sandblasted (frosted) platinum dial with luminous hour markers, Mercedes hands, a signature red seconds hand, and red “YACHT-MASTER” text. Powered by the reliable Calibre 3135 automatic movement with approximately 48 hours of power reserve and a date display under the Cyclops lens. Fitted with a stainless steel Oyster bracelet. Water-resistant to 100 metres, this reference remains one of the most elegant and distinctive Yacht-Master models thanks to its luxurious material combination and refined nautical design.
